O HIV é um retrovírus que gera supressão do sistema imune e para impedir sua multiplicação surgiram os antirretrovirais. Assim, o presente estudo consiste em uma revisão narrativa que visa avaliar o papel do farmacêutico na profilaxia de infecções causadas pelo HIV.

ABSTRACT

HIV is a retrovirus that causes suppression of the immune system and to prevent its multiplication, antiretroviral drugs were developed. Thus, the present study consists of a narrative review that aims to evaluate the role of the pharmacist in the prophylaxis of infections caused by HIV.
